In order to answer that question, you have to become an educated label
reader. Just like checking the side panel of your cereal box, you
should read the ingredients list before pouring and food into your
dog’s bowl. However, one look tells us how confusing this can
be. After all, who knows what a mixed
tocopherol (a good thing) or corn
gluten meal (not so good) or chicken by-product
(not good at all) is?
We have put together a couple of tools to make you feel more comfortable
as a discerning label reader. Try reading one of our Natural
Way Labels. We have also put together a glossary
of ingredient terms that should explain the meaning behind most
of the words you might run into on any dog food label. |
