Where can I find an experienced obedience coach?
Look for an obedience coach the same way you would look for a vet - ask friends, family, co-workers and others you trust for referrals. Dog training association web sites are good resources as well (try the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, www.apdt.com). Regardless of credentials and your referral source, however, always be sure to visit the facility and ask questions about their training philosophy before making a decision.
