Question 2
Should I get a dog or a cat?
Both require devotion and commitment, but cats are often easier to care for and a better choice for people who work full-time away from home. Because most dogs need lots of exercise and obedience training (along with the opportunity to be "let out" a few times a day), they are best for people with a lot of time available in the day to spend interacting with the pet. Also, many dogs are willing to get into the car without protest and enjoy accompanying their owners on trips, so they are a good choice for those who like to travel.
Cats, on the other hand, usually don't like traveling
and are happier at home with a sitter if the family
goes out of town. Another important consideration: how
much attention you want from the pet. Cats often like
to be left alone, and will therefore leave their owners
alone. Dogs, on the other hand, are the exact opposite.
