I need to go out of town for a few days - how long
can I leave my aquarium unattended?
Usually, it is safe to leave your fish unattended for
about three days (any longer will require the hiring
of a "fish sitter"). And don't give them a
few days worth of food to hold them over - eating too
much can make fish sick. Also, be sure to turn out light
and close the blinds so they have as much peace and
quiet as possible.
